William L. Fox works at the intersection of art and science with the National Science Foundation, National Academy of Sciences, Grantmakers in the Arts, Organization of Biological Field Stations, UC Berkeley-Sagehen Creek Field Station, and others.

Fox has worked as a consulting editor for university presses. He has authored essays and chapters for numerous exhibition catalogs and artists’ monographs.
